Does anyone have any recommendations for legitimate online jobs?

I’m looking to earn some extra money, so if anyone can provide links to legit online job sites that allow a person to work from home it would be much appreciated.

You could earn money by writing an ebook on something you know and then you can sell the ebook on ebay.

I looked for work at home on and off for about 4 years. About half way through my search I realized that legitimate work at home jobs were impossible to find, so I turned my attention to home based businesses. However, my search was still far from over. I had to find the right home business- I wanted something that I could believe in and something that would allow me to help others. I also did not want anything that required me to sell products or do home parties. It is really important to think about what you don’t want when searching for home careers. While you should never have to pay anything for a job, there is always a cost to starting a business. The good news is there are home businesses out there with very reasonable start-up costs, so you can absolutely avoid anything with a huge start-up cost and that is exactly what I set out to do. There were times when I wanted to give up, and I thought I would never find what I was looking for. However, in March 2009 I found the right home career opportunity for me, and I decided to take a leap of faith and get started! It has truly been a blessing. I will be able to afford to be a stay-at-home mom when my husband and I are blessed with children, and that makes it all worth it to me!

The company that I work with is the nation’s leading provider of health discount plans, has been in business nearly 20 years, and is a 100 Million Dollar debt-free company. I was a huge skeptic and was afraid to try anything, but I did my research before starting my home business like anyone should, and the reputation and credentials of this company really impressed me. They are members in good standing of the National Association of Dental Plans, The Consumer Health Alliance, the US Chamber of Commerce, and have an “A” rating with the Better Business Bureau. These are all services that I am proud of and right away I knew I could get behind them.

So, basically I help others to save money by marketing and educating interested individuals about our discount plans, and I help others to make money by helping them to get started in the business. There is no cold calling, telemarketing or high-pressure sales, which were all things I knew I wanted to avoid. We call people who have asked us to contact them! We get paid a 20% or 30% commission for each and every piece of business we enroll month after month and year for as long as the business remains active- so we build substantial residual incomes overtime. Although it may be difficult to find, do not give up on your search for the right work at home opportunity. There are a lot of legitimate opportunities out there- you just have to do your homework. Stay away from anything that sounds too good to be true and make sure you check for credentials and know how long a company has been in business and whether or not the company is successful. Watch out for companies that push you to make a decision or are reluctant to provide you with all the details before you get started. A company should be willing to provide you with as much information as necessary to make an informed decision and you should be allowed the time you need to make that decision without pressure. Legit work at home jobs are rare. Don’t fall for any work at home scams. The best work at home jobs are from companies that allow a percentage of their workers with specific jobs to work from home. At my last job 25% of my employees worked from home. (I worked for a Fortune 500 company) For the most part you have to earn the right to work at home. You start with the company if they trust you and you have good performance reviews they let you work from home.

You could always start your own business. http://www.entrepreneur.com is a great place to look for ideas.
