Are there any legitimate ways to make money online?
I’m not asking for something for nothing here. I know that those sites are scams. Obviously. But I refuse to believe that there are no legitimate sites that actually exchage ‘real payment’ (cash money) for a service to be done for them online in return. Can anyone give me one of these?

There are a few sights that work great! fribiz, lockerz, and swagbucks. Out of these swagbucks is my favorite. Fribiz gives you 10000 points to start, you make bets with the points and if you lose they give you back your points you bet and more points. An online business is quite easy to start; anybody and everybody can start an online business. You can also decide to be an affiliate marketer which is quite similar to having an online business. What I advise is you search for a product which interests you and which you think will sell quite well. When you sell the product you get a hefty 50 – 70% commission!

freebie trading – seems scammy, but after trying it to write an article about it (which I thought would be a negative review) found out it was for real
mturk.com, microworkers.com, chacha.com, kgb.com – you’ll literally be working for pennies though
ebay arbitrage and cpa arbitrage – these are pretty nifty, but take a lot of time and effort to find good opportunities
blogging or writing for revenue share sites – there are links to sites I write for on my profile. Ideally you’ll create a free blog and post articles on the revenue share sites to both earn you money and drive traffic to the blog. It takes a while to build up a decent income though.

You are right Bruce Osborne, most sites are scams. There are a few genuine sites like Amazon.com’s Mturk (Amazon mechanical turk), but you should be from U.S.
There is yet another opportunity in Facebook, there is an application called cloud-crowd. I use to work for them and they pay me the next day itself. I make 5 to 10 dollars each day without much hard work. Some members claim that they make 30 to 50 dollars each day. Anyone can join cloud-crowd and it’s free to join.
There are many other sites like elance and odesk if you are serious about freelancing. If you are good in English, you may try helium.com where you should write articles for them.
